Zuneing in

ZUNE, the soon to be offering from Microsoft to rival the almost worldwide appeal of Apple's iPod has been given it's first look for all of us really cool, music listening, hip swinging, swishing and swaying our way through life kind of people.

As of now, it's just a little bunny that needs love. You can read the press release on CNN here and the visit the blogs that are going to be very closely following the development here and here.

Now before all you people say oohh aahh, and every news outlet touts this as an iPod Killer. Hold your earphones for a minute!

First of all take all that graphic substance about killing out of every new product that some big hotshot company launches trying to take out the market leader. There's place for everybody. The service itself doesnt launch till later this year, until then Apple will have made another heap of money, and I personally am not too excited about it. Infact I'm never excited about Microsoft products.

It all depends on how they market this thing and most importantly how they wrap it. I mean the iPod box itself looks del.icio.us.
