What’s Your Blog Fetish?

Everyone has some fetishes or some personal fixations that sets them apart from everybody else. The people behind blogs, the bloggers, have them too - after all they are people. {The picture here has nothing to do with my personal preferences}

Most people like to keep their fetishes private, a fetish doesn't have to be of the perverse kind though. It can be something that you regularly splurge on like an exotic dish or some rich chocolate or even a massage. It's something that you have to have, no matter what.

Our blogs are extensions of ourselves, our thoughts, our feelings and more. What we experience in real life, more or less comes through in either the content we create, the design of our blog, the way we organize it and also our personal fixations. You may have a ton of friends, be an avid coupon collector etc...

So, What's your Blog Fetish? What is something that you absolutely need to have more of, even though you already have it on your blog? I compiled a small list of some of the most common things that people get obsessed about on their blogs -

• Widgets/Plugins - No matter how many widgets/plugins you put on your blog you can't seem to have enough of them. You have a weather widget, a latest movie releases widget, a rating widget, and on and on. Of course you can't wait for new widgets to install on your blog.
• RSS Badges - You want to make sure that you satisfy everybody by placing as many RSS reader/aggregator badges on your site.
• 80 X 15 stickers - From blog top sites, to more top lists, to your cat. You have a badge for everyone and everything on your blog.
• Blogrolling - You are a link whore, you link to everybody you can find on the internet, and are overall just an overtly obsessive linker. Some blog rolls could literally be made into a directory.
• Logos/Headers - You change your logo or header almost weekly and as soon as you finish putting up a new one, you already think of another one.
• Social Bookmarking Icons - No matter how many little 16X16 icons you have, there is always space for one more.
