Recipe to Online Monetary Bliss

1. Get your head out of your ass - Don't try and be cocky, don't try and be "all that". Just be yourself, if you can't get a grip on your own judgments than you won't be able to understand how things work here.

2. It takes more than one night - That's right, you won't get rich overnight here. If someone told you that to sell you an ebook with their "secrets to overnight riches formula" they just found themselves another sucker.

3. Don't bother learning - I've started websites that got high PR and natural search engine traffic very quick way in the beginning when I had absolutely no knowledge of SEO, etc...Sometimes it's best to learn by yourself. If you end up learning other people's tricks you'll never master any of your own.

4. Chase your dream, not someone else's earning screenshot - If you are looking to get your face plastered all over the web with a check that shows your amazing earnings, hire someone with photoshop skillz to whip up one for you. Got it? Good! Now show that to your dog, your goldfish, significant other, pat yourself on your back and get to work.

5. Use outsourcing to your advantage - Tasks like designing websites, or copy writing, doesn't have to be all done by you. You can either hire freelancers to do it for you, or just buy ready made templates {though they might not be unique}.

6. Function over form - Doesn't matter what you're getting into be it PPC, arbitrage, content monetized with CPC ads or full blown web services. This one basic rule will save you headaches down the line. Function over form.

7. Keep it simple - Once you've mastered simplicity you'll keep saying to yourself why you complicated things so much before?

8. Take a break - Every once in a while you need to recharge. So spend some of that hard earned cash on something nice for yourself, any loved ones and have a Kit-Kat or a vacation...

9. Don't let it become a"job" - Smart people don't work for money, they let the money work for them.

10. It's in the details - Every little thing counts. A few extra dots "..." at the end of a PPC campaign, a smiling face on a landing page, a good chair to sit on while you work!

11. Slow and steady - Granted, working online can seem a bit tedious in the beginning. But what would you rather have - 6/12 months of testing and experiments, followed by years of automated income and being your own boss or 40 years of telling yourself how you hate your job and wish you had tried something different 39 years ago?

12. Remember to approach anything not with the intent to make money, but with the intent to change your life.

Bonus:

Love it, or Leave it - If you have find that you have no passion to drive you to make money online once you get started please stop, proceed to the nearest exit and go back to your day job {which I hope you didn't quit till you were actually making some money online?}. You'll be more happy there.

This lifestyle is not for everyone, much like the 9-5 lifestyle is not for me.

Great tips. I especially like the keep it simple tip. Making money online isn’t rocket science. I have spent way too much time online learning every new technique to come along, when my old techniques still work just fine.
