Have you heard of This Next yet?
It's a wonderful social shopping site where others people recommend stuff they find on the internet to you. You can add a description if you like to your recommendation and tags and if somebody else like what you recommended or actually bought it they will end up doing the same. Once you recommend something it stays within your account for you to reference anytime. With the use of tags you can find anything you want on the site and maybe even a review of a product that you're looking to buy. The more recommendations the more popular it gets.
You can also make your own lists for any category for eg., Power Tools or Movie Time and add relevant recommendations to your list for everyone to see.
Some other cool features are WishLists and Shopcasting. With shopcasting you can tell your blog readers about products you recommend. Strengthen your voice by keeping the products you write about from getting buried by subsequent posts. Attract traffic. Your blog URLs are listed on your lists and profile so people on ThisNext can click over to your blog when they see and like your lists.
So if you're into the blogging a lot it's a great little nifty thing to add to you sidebar.
I use This Next as it helps me find new and cool stuff I never knew existed. Give it a try you might just end up recommending something.
