A Shift In Thinking

I've been doing some blog soul searching and I think it's time for me to make a shift in what this blog is "about" and where I want to take it, in terms of overall growth.

I'm not a tech geek in the real sense of the term, I don't own many gadgets and don't see myself owning them in the future. So my technology and electronics categories are going to be taking the boot. I've also updated my header to better reflect my new way of thinking - i.e. "Think Outside The Box".

It probably sounds a bit clichéd, but that's what I'm really all about from here on. Granted, I do not have the experience on the web, concerning making money, like some of the others out there, but so far I've done O.K for myself. That's what I want to change the "O.K" bit.

Being O.K is NOT an option, Being Exceptional Is

Naturally everybody wants to be the best they can be. I'm no different. I'm embarking on a lot of new things this year, I've handwritten them all down and stuck them on my wall. Right beside my monitor.

I intend to see that those points become a reality!

I've already taken my first step, with WP Auctions, and another step as well, with affiliate marketing, and it's exciting. I can really feel the energy going through me. It's amazing how you can really rev up your train of thought simply by writing down your goals.

There's two more projects which are in the pipeline, and are due to be launched sometime near the end of March and May. Those are more of the entrepreneurial type ventures, one of which is going to center around blogging. The current reaction to WP Auctions has been astounding so far. A lot of positive feedback, and a lot of people actually trying the widget out on their blogs. Which is really encouraging and makes me even more excited for its future.

Having inhaled way too much information over the last year or so, I think it's about time to exhale and change my life around. To be able to do so, the first thing that needs to change is mindset. I have Amit to thank for that.

Getting things done is not that hard, once you actually start doing them.

I'm going to be writing, researching and experimenting on thought mechanics, self improvement, success and a whole lot of related stuff. Naturally I will also write the occasional topic on new web startups, design and the internet in general, as that is what I myself am into.

Now, if you'll excuse me I have to go and finish setting up my other blog to win this challenge that I have.
