Thanks! I look forward to hearing from you. I really hope u feel better, soon! You are one of my fav bloggers!

  2. Egon says:

Dude I’d buy a few of your shirts, but Cafepress is too damned expensive. $25 for a shirt with plain white text on black? (php – hello world shirt) That’s kinda stupid.

    • Ali says:

How about I reduce my margin then :-)

Would that convince you to buy one?

      • Ali says:

I’ve reduced all my margins. I’m only making like $2.00 to $3.00 per shirt. So please feel free to buy one.

I would have signed up with spreadshirt but they have two different sites {.com and .net} each one caters to only one side of the Atlantic. Not a feasible solution for a global blog.

  3. JoeTech.com says:

I definitely want a “Hello World” shirt.

  4. Hi Congrats to the Ellie

  5. Egon says:

    Hi Ali,

Thanks for the reduction, but I’m still going to have to pay $29 ($24 for the shirt – XXL, and $5 for shipping.) This isn’t your fault, it’s just that Cafepress sucks and is way too expensive.

Here is what I would do if I were you:
    Go to http://brunettotshirts.com/prices.html
Most of the shirts only cost $6 or $7 to print, minimum 12. You have great designs, you wouldn’t have a problem selling them yourself in your own shop.

You could even sell on eBay or something, charge as low as $15 per shirt and you’re making double profit. Let’s say you buy a total of 200 shirts for $1400. All you would have to do is sell 100 of them to make your money back, and the customer is getting a $15 awesome t-shirt.

Start off with one design and see how it works.
