I've had a bug with the views per post plugin that I had installed. It shows the Top Posts on my sidebar correctly, but messes up when showing "Top Visited Posts" so I use the "Top Commented Posts" option instead.
I found this other plugin called WP-PostViews and so far it seems to be working fine. Why did I change? Well because I know my previous post on web design got tens of thousands of views and it only showed the views as numbering only 567? So something was definitely not right there.
The guy who I got the new PostViews plugin has developed a whole bunch of other wordpress plugins and I think you might find some of them interesting. So for now you will see all the present post views as being 0, or a few hits, plus since I run WP-Cache the actual number might not reflect right away.
I've also donated some money for his efforts. That's how Open Source survives - from the community that uses it. I might also install the Post Ratings plugin sometime in the future, still thinking about it.
Right, back to business...
