PayPerPost is getting serious about attracting top notch bloggers to their network. Just today they have have released a few high paying paid opportunities on their network. So if your name is Michael Arrington of techcrunch.com or Om Malik of gigaom.com come on in, the water's great.
There is one opportunity to make $1000 for writing about rockstartup.com. Requirements there are a PR 8, Alexa rank of 10,000 at least and no myspace, livejournal, vox or xanga hosted blogs. So Micheal and Om can take this one.
The other one is for a $125 for bloggers that are already part of the network with a PR 7 and Alexa of at least 200,000. Sadly I don't think there are any bloggers on the network with a PR 7 yet. The highest from a recent poll show only one with a PR 6 and most with a PR 4 - 5.
I think this is more or less a marketing gimmick to attract more high profile bloggers to the network and get more high profile advertisers as well. PPP is aiming to become a top notch provider of effective blog advertising on the internet and a very easy way for prolific bloggers to make an extra thousand or two.
Sorry John Chow you can't qualify for any of the above opps, not yet at least. But you can still join the network.

Interesting. But you know how hard it is for a lowly blogger to get a PR of 7? Forget it. You need huge traffic and you need to punch above your weight.
That’s pretty amazing they want a blogger with a PR 7. Are there any?
I don’t think there are any with a 7, a few with a 6 maybe.
