Payperpost has been doing some shopping lately and they have picked up two key services from the very popular performancing.com
More specifically they have bought Perfomancing Metrics and Performancing Exchange the other tools Performancing for Firefox blog editor technology and the Performancing Partners ad technology have not been bought and those assets will migrate to a new brand.
I think this is great as payperpost can integrate the power of tracking blog visitors, blog comments, ad clickthroughs and much more along with access to around 28,000 professionals in the blogosphere and make payperpost more of a corporate, if you will, ad platform and bring in the big boys to blog advertising with payperpost and take advantage of all of us bloggers out there.
The step to buy such a service that is already popular is a better one than building your own as not only do you attract new blogs to the idea of payperposting but also offer a service to the present bloggers in the system that is already tried and tested. I would like to think that the service will somehow co-relate with our blog postings that are sponsored and make statistics known to the blogger as well as the advertiser and somehow be able to form a more successful and even longer lasting relationship rather than just one post.
