Passion for Success

There are mainly two types of people on the internet. The first person makes the content and the second one receives the content.

King Nomar - no relation to any dot com moguls - is trying to place himself in the first type. Nomar is a 20 year old male from the Netherlands who is a starting web developer and he wants to make money on the web. Welcome to the club King!

Content

He has been blogging since October of 2006 and his frequency of posts have been more or less consistent, which is a good sign for somebody being serious about their blog being a source of income. He talks about his earnings and traffic analysis for February and shows his readers how much he is making online. I too like to disclose how much I make online as it keeps other readers motivated and coming back for more.

His other posts that I found interesting were

• How to change domains without losing rankings
• Common SEO Myths and
• How Text-Links can not always be all they are said to be

Overall I would say the content is fair enough and informative. He writes with honesty and I like to see that coming from a blogger who shares their daily life and happenings with you, along with the other pertinent information that is useful as well.

Design

Using a misty theme the blog looks very much like a lot of the remnants of the John Chow buzz that went around the internet for a while. I would say if you are trying to make an impression for yourself you have to be different. Not that the theme is bad or anything - it's just that it gets a little repetitive after you visit so many blogs with the same theme, same Google Adsense placement and similar plugins.

If you want to be a King, then I encourage you do dress like one. Moguls are rampant, Kings posses charisma.

Topics Discussed

From Business, Money, SEO to Technology, Videos, Gaming and Fun he covers a wide array of topics. This just goes to show that he is very open about his passions and likes to talk about them on his blog. A very important attribute for success is to share the things you have a passion for, as that is where your strengths lie so build on them.

Advertising

With his traffic and popularity increasing he has decided to monetize his blog with Adsense and you can read the post which I linked to above. He also sells text links on the sidebar and for the price I would say it is a good placement and is probably worth buying for anyone looking for a firm linkback.

Conclusion

I like King Nomar dot Com and his Web development Blog and I think that he will come a long way if he keeps up the tempo that he has. Just get a different theme King. You need to lead, not follow.
