There are two types of searches that I perform everyday. One for finding the information fast and that means not going more than 2 pages further in Google, Yahoo or MSN. The second type of search is for finding new information on the web or for discovering new sites and blogs I've never heard of. The second type of search usually begins at Page 10 of the results.
Granted that in the first 10 pages of SERP's you will find the most popular sites and blogs which you already know about. But going further down all sorts of new resources pop up about places that you never knew existed on the internet.
For instance I searched for "electronic stores" and deep within I found this website called Herrington Catalog.com, I've never heard of it before but they have some really cool gadgets in their tools and gadgets category. Like this cable co-ordinator -
My next search brought me to a furniture store called Concepts Living.com which specializes in fibreglass furniture pieces. These pieces were designed, expressly, for the most modern styles of architecture, which feature light open spaces.
Video link here, sorry it wasn't embeddable.
And check out this other thing I found it's a Digital Camera Plane, the Estes Remote-Control Digital Camera Plane has a camera pod on top of it that can snap up to 26 digital pictures upon command. Perfect for spying eh!

Link to video and product page.
Now some of you probably already knew about these stores but I sure didn't. So next time you do a search for anything online jump to page 10, 20, 30 or 40 and beyond and see what you get.
