Notely is a new site that was started by Tom Whitson who wants to make learning easier for the new computer literate youth who can't use a pen and paper are more adept at absorbing information from blogs, wiki's and the internet in general.
The features that the app includes are -
- To-Do list
- Tasks (Homework) list
- Write lecture notes (TinyMCE plugin)
- PDF,DOC,TXT export
- RSS feeds
- Calendar with iCal download
- Plus a bunch more...
If you would like to try out the features here's the demo. So basically I can create the courses I take at school, add lectures to each course as they happen and keep a whole list of notes for everything I do at school/college. Neat!
The future sees Notely getting more social about themselves with the ability to share notes, to-do lists and make friends across the network. So basically Tom saw a niche in this category and decided to jump in and code this thing out. Wish I could do code like that!
If you want, have a view of the video tour.
