You know the best way to feel good about your blogging accomplishments is to either celebrate them privately or with your readers. Of course that doesn't mean you go analyzing every front page digg, slashdot or boing boing traffic avalanche that you get. Nobody likes that, plus everybody knows that most of the digg users use Firefox with Ad block.
My Accomplishments
I finally hit 500 RSS subscribers after the longest time of itching in closely to it over a couple of weeks. Hopefully it should continue on the rise from here on.
I think the biggest hurdle is to hit that magic number, if you want to call it that. 500 people reading your blog on a daily basis is quite a lot of people, granted it is nothing compared to the 1000's to tens of thousands others have - but still makes me happy. Especially because I started this blog last year posting writeups only centered around affiliate products {yuck!}. A lot has changed since then and I'm quite optimistic for the future.
Looking to the future
In the run up to my new theme being launched, which is looking rad and bad, I've decided on some of the features that I will add and not be adding.
- Main focus will still be about new web startups, monetizing methods and such
- I've decided against launching a forum...for now
- I'll be adding a very nice looking...

So if you have any blogging accomplishments go ahead and celebrate them by yourself or with everybody. After all, you only live blog once!

Monitoring RSS subscribers has become a performance evaluation item for blogs nowadays and there are more attention placed on it.
I guess I should focus more on it now.
