Likno – DHTML and Javascript Menu Builder

If you're a web designer you know by now the complexities that you can run into for making a good menu navigation that actually works across a multitude of browsers on the web. I've made many a nice menu for the jobs that I do only to find that it doesn't look the same in IE and FF, I won't begin about the way it looks in Safari for the Mac. Likno.com has sponsored this post.

Likno is in the business of offering you various software that makes menu navigation and other menu related software. Their products include AllWebMenus, Menu Templates, Web Button Maker, Drop-Down Menu Trees and Photo Frame Show.

From the list above I personally like AllWebMenus the most.

AllWebMenus is a DHTML/JavaScript menu builder that lets users create any kind of popup or drop-down web menu without any DHTML or Javascript experience required as well as create cross-browser navigation bars that work alike in all browsers supporting DHTML.

Since most of the browsers support DHTML this is an alternative from building CSS based menus.

At the current sale price of $45 it isn't that bad of a deal either. They even offer various theme packs for sale, if you don't want to go through the trouble of making the menus by yourself, but then where's the fun in buying the software. Personally I would just use the software and build my own variations. Plus some of the examples in the theme packs didn't look that inviting anyhow.

For those who use a WYSIWYG web authoring tool like Dreamweaver or Frontpage, they offer Free Addins which you can use to easily integrate their software with. See the full list of web authoring addons.
