iBegin, whom I reviewed earlier, launched a weather widget recently and I decided to take up a sponsored review* of the service and look at the various features it offers.
A widget to forecast them all
Well, the U.S and Canada for now at least. Just type in the city name for the weather forecast needed, and if there are more matches to a city typed in, the options are presented and proceed according to your choice or location.
You are then presented with a clean and uncluttered weather widget like this {my blogs image formating CSS may be messing it up a little} -
Fully customizable
The widget itself is fully customizable. Meaning you can remove the link to iBegin, choose a bigger icon or none, choose to remove the current weather or the forecast and decide if you want the search function to remain or not.
The advanced settings lets you play around with the colors, size and font of the widget.
I think this is a winner in terms of widgets because it is virtually branding free, no logos to be seen anywhere and with the option to remove the link as well altogether some people might just be really happy with it.
Of course with a simple and uncluttered widget like that it might seem more likely that people will leave the link in.
Go ahead, Everybody Go To get your own weather forecast widget at iBegin.
