This post is part of "August - Make Money Online Month".
Stick with one niche, don't add a sub-niche to it. Because then it's not a niche anymore and you won't succeed in making money in that niche. Once you give two trains of thought to a visitor your potential to lose a sale goes up by 50% or more. With niche affiliate sites you need to stick to one area, don't try to recreate another Macy's or Amazon by stuffing all the products you can think of - it will not convert to sales. {unless you're a big corporate site like fatwallet.com or similar}
The number one reason for this is
- If you send traffic for the "extra" stuff {sub - niches} you added to your affiliate site then there is a lesser chance they will buy that product, as that is not what they came to look for on your site. Conversions may occur but they will be insignificant and you would have wasted a visitors "buying mode".
But, if you concentrate on one specific market and you send traffic to your affiliate site for that market you have a higher chance that they will make another impulse purchase there while checking out. Let them handle that part.
I learned this the hard way. PPC Affiliate Marketing is a whole other ball game.

I have website which is getting bigger and bigger so good think to do is separate it to more websites, more niches…
I agree. If you’re going to build a niche site for affiliate marketing, you should stick to your defined niche. It isn’t that hard to create additional sites [for affiliate marketing] for additional niches.
