Finally a cool way to find a hotel by looking where it is at before booking yourself, and I don't mean a nice well lit picture I mean an actual Google Map that shows you where the hotel is.
When asked to review this site I thought to myself another hotel search site. On the contrary it is a another really cool hotel search site. You type in your city of preference and zoom - it shows you all the hotels in their database for that city. You can then zoom in for any specific locality you are looking for and by clicking on the icons the relevant hotel information pops up. { image below }
From the name, address and price of a room per night you will also be shown links to get more "Hotel Information" or "Make a reservation". Upon clicking you are then taken to the booking page and all the information you would want to know about the hotel is present. Other information including Events and Entertainment, Destination Overview, Traveler Reviews and more is also offered.
Their hotel-booking engine is powered by World Choice Travel (WCT). WCT is a member of the ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) and IATAN (International Airlines Travel Agent Network). Apart from discount hotel reservations they also offer vacation packages, last minute deals, group bookings, air, car and travel deals. You can also book by phone.
A bunch of language options are available so international visitors need not feel left out. Currently they offer over 55,000 hotels displayed on an interactive world map. You can also view international hotels, my search for Vienna showed a lot of results right on a Google map. I think the travel industry is one of the most competitive ones out there. Especially these days when a single news event can throw everything out of order it is brave of Hotel Magician to come out with something new. Maybe this might encourage more people to take a break and go on a trip somewhere, even if the world isn't in a perfect state.
