Google has a deeper integration of their word type documents application which is web based within their email service Gmail.
Clicking on the link opens the document in Google docs and spreadsheets. Recently we have seen Google also making YouTube videos being searchable from Google Video.
I guess it was about time they started binding their products more closely together. Like Sergey said "We are focused on features, not products."
Some other things also include the integration of Google Maps with a location. If you type in las vegas hotels you get some results with a "+" and the map location shows up when you click it.
