Digg the catalyst of change in the user driven news segment of the internet has just announced that they will start supporting OpenID in the near future, "later this year" to be precise.
After Microsoft and AOL also announced their support for the system I think things are beginning to roll in the direction of one login to rule them all (pun intended).
What OpenID does is basically give you one login to use across all websites that support it. I had no idea that something like this existed when I wrote about a similar idea in my Open Source category.
