Creating Web 2.0 Buttons Just Got Easier

If you remember I wrote about all the online tools that you can use to make your next Web 2.0 site a while back. Well I was sensing that their was something missing and so did the creators of My Cool Button. They have stepped in and filled a huge void in the Web 2.0 arena. ;)

Now you have almost everything you need to get your Web 2.0 site off the ground and woo some investors for some VC capital.

The site basically just lets you create your own buttons complete with gradients and a shine, of course they couldn't leave out the rounded corners. Here is an example.

You can upload your own icon, like I did, or use any of the ones they have or just have plain text. You can change colors along with font type and size. There does seem to a problem with alignment of the text when you insert/upload an icon though.

The button size itself ranges from 100px to 200px. So more or less if you are creating buttons for your blog then this is a nice tool. They are right now in beta 0.6, whatever that means.

I wonder what's next, tell you what for those that can build stuff like this here's an idea. I would like an online image/template slicer. Where I can upload a template or image and have it sliced up according to the dimensions I provide down to the pixel complete with resulting CSS styling.
