In case you haven't noticed we have a new advertiser on board with us and they are colour lovers. No really, that's the name of the domain Colour Lovers.

What is Colour Lovers about?
They describe themselves as a resource that monitors and influences color trends. Basically it is for any designer who knows what I'm saying when I mention RGB and CMYK.
Taking examples of the way colors are used in the real world by users, and creative professionals, the site aims to offer you an inspirational gateway for all things color.
The founder of the site is Darius A Monsef IV {rocking name man!} who says his site is based on the open source and common license concept and it's all about sharing and influencing each other. He is a business man and fashion designer by profession, just like me 
.
He is also the founder of Hands on Worldwide a non-profit dedicated to disaster response and relief.
Spectrum of Colour
The site has a lot going on from a color blog written by the IV'th himself where he writes about a lot of color related posts that are good reads.
If you want to jump right in and get all colorful then head on over to the palettes section where you can view color palettes and trends, have a look at the top ones created by other users or perform a specific search for a color palette. You can download palettes in various formats from .PSD, .AI, CSS, HTML or Zipped file.
They also have a color only section that only showcases single colors, the "lovers" are what they call the users on the site, a forum, trends and a job section round up the rest of the features on the site. So there is definitely a lot going on here. I think I'll become a lover myself..erm a user I mean, of Colour Lovers.

Yeah, I love that site too. The fact that they allow users to upload and share their palettes is great. I also like the comparisons they make to the palettes that you can find in nature as well as the palettes of great artists from history. It really teaches you a lot.
As for how to spell color/colour the English spell with a U and they invented the language but American English is used in more publications so take your pick.
