Check your other email accounts with Gmail

Gmail has finally launched a hugely awaited feature which was the ability to check your other email accounts with Gmail itself. I tried it out.

If you haven't signed up with Gmail yet, read this.

You go to your Settings part of Gmail and click on Accounts, there you should see a "Add another mail account" clicking it will open a new window where you enter the email account you want to check within Gmail itself.

After entering the email you see the options below -

It doesn't work with Hotmail or Yahoo as they are IMAP based and not POP, which Gmail supports. So if you have your own domain name through which you get emails or any other POP email service you use then give it a try.

Also if you don't like the idea of Google storing all the emails you ever send in your life then stay away from it, they store each and every search you make so they probably store each and every single email you delete as well.
