Imagine working for the CIA and doing all kinds of undercover stuff. Hearing stuff nobody gets to, seeing things that may amaze anybody else or being part of a bigger conspiracy to cover up something about somebody. Only to get fired later on!
That's the premise for USA Network's Burn Notice a new TV series about Michael Weston, who gets fired from the CIA and then tries to figure out why he was.
Here's my theory
I'm guessing he's not fired at all, it will probably just make it look like he was. Slowly he will end up finding clues, which will be planted by other CIA operatives themselves, that will only lead him deeper into a conspiracy that he has unknowingly been assigned to uncover, or cover up.
Knowing the CIA they like to keep secrets, even if it has to be from their own people. Only a few people at the top truly know whats happening - or who knows maybe even they are puppets in this big game of cat and mouse.
I remember when I started watching Lost and the amount of theories that came up about it. I can't wait to see what type of theories and the plots that this series will take.
Personally I'm a huge fan of detective type of shows. CSi:Miami is one of my favorites as I get to see a lot of my old home town Miami in it. This series too is set in Miami which should also bring back a lot of memories.
The show premieres June 28 on USA Network.
