Blow The Whistle On Software Piracy, Message Via Feedburner

Here's another amusing ad that I've received for consideration to be placed on this blog, via Feedburner. This time it's to encourage people to "Blow The Whistle" on any software piracy they may be aware of.

So if you think your friends, any family member or your neighbor may have some pirated software go ahead and turn them in. You might just get "up to" a cool million.

As you can see I've declined the ad, plus the CPM is just terrible on Feedburner ads anyway. It's just amusing to see that blogs are now being targeted for a wide variety of ads that I've never seen before on blogs themselves. I'm sure this is probably not the first time nor do I think it will be the last time you see such ads being targeted.

Don't worry I won't be running anything of the sort here.

Also, check the U.S Navy ads that came my way some time back.

And earn an extra $10,000.00 if you report your neighbor as being a pinko communist! This is the red scare all over again. I’m so tired of seeing this and other similar ads, like when the movie industry started putting out those ads with the gaffer and the grip and the low men on the totem pole saying not to pirate movies because they are working class people trying to feed their families…ugh. it just disgusts me. I’m glad you denied the ad.

James, yep it sure is disgusting. But I wouldn’t be surprised if some people approved it just for the money.
