Starting any blog and writing about something you know nothing about is fruitless and pointless. If you've never blogged you aren't an expert and should write about it. It's like they say in screenwriting, write what you know and if you plan on making a business out of your blogging, you need to blog what you know. Write what you are passionate about and don't worry about the money...it will come eventually. This really is true.
