PluginZilla.com: WordPress Plugin Reviews

Posted by Hyder on May 19th, 2008

I’ve been busy the last couple of weeks writing for a new blog called PluginZilla.com. As you may have guessed by now it’s a blog where you can read WordPress plugin reviews. Currently there are only a few entries there but more are being added on a weekly basis.

The basic premise is simple, pick a plugin {new or old} that could be of benefit to a wide variety of WordPress users and give them a direct-to-the-point type of review. Providing just enough information so that a user can decide how the plugin works, any issues they should know about and if it’s the right plugin for them. There are many plugins out there that a lot of users don’t know about, I’ve discovered quite a few myself since I started writing for the blog.

Mat, the owner of the blog, has taken a great initiative to provide the WordPress community a valuable resource and I’m glad to be the first one writing for it. As there are some plugins out there that need a little bit of getting used to, I’ve had some hiccups myself with a few in the past.

I tend to try out most of the plugins myself, but some of them already have working versions on the authors blogs - so I just test them out there and provide my point of view.

If you are a plugin developer, or own a WordPress plugin, then you can submit your plugin for review and we’ll review it. Subscribe to PluginZilla to be updated of new reviews as they are published.
