Item of the Week - April 7th, 2008

I didn’t do an item of the week last week, I blame Spring Fever for it.

This time it’s something every geek, a.k.a you and me, will just love! But first take a moment and look below your desk. See all those messy cables trying to fit into all those outlets you have there, yeah looks pathetic doesn’t it. Well how about we fix that situation?

ThinkGeek.com has this very cool PowerSquid Outlet Multiplier. What this nifty little thing does is give you the ability to plug in big hefty adapters into one central outlet. If you have a bunch of electronic equipment you know what I’m talking about. When you have big adapters most of the time they can’t lay plugged in next to each other because they’re just so darn fat. Not too mention that the “brilliant” people making these outlets are somehow blissfully unaware of this fact! I hate corporate thinking. Well, it’s a good thing that those guys over at ThinkGeek are there to help us out.

This squiddy looking thing lets you plugin in upto five of those big husky adapters into one outlet. Now we can all play our Xboxes, while recharging our cellphones and print out paper plane pdf’s as they are all simultaneously connected. Nirvana!
