Anybody Know Any Good Blogs To Read?

I’m looking for some fresh perspectives to add to my RSS reader. I would like to know what blogs do you, my readers, read and what would you recommend to me?

I’m basically interested in blogs that are slightly edgy, but don’t like to take too much of your time. Bloggers who know how to make a point in 3-5 bullet points, 2 - 3 paragraphs rather 15 - 50 points, and 6 - 7 paragraphs. It could be on any topic under the sun, it could even be about gardening!

On this website I learned how people make homemade syrup, garlic powder, how to skin a deer, cut/scald a chicken.

I am a city girl so I find this sort of the VERY fascinating. I would love to encounter farm life just once.
