Working from home is probably the single thing in my life I would never want to change. I can be as productive as I wish to be, or taking the time off when I feel like. The one thing that can really affect your productivity though can be the setup you have.
From your desk, your chair, to whether you decide to place snacks within arms reach. The last point there I don’t recommend at all.
I think my desk is pretty good, I wish it came with some sort of cable organizing panels or something in the back. But my chair is nothing worth taking a picture over. The truth is I use an extra chair from my dining room table. WHICH SUCKS! The only saving factor is that it has a good back and keeps my spine straight.
After looking around I’ve seen this egronomic chair and I think for the better part, even though it’s slightly on the expensive side starting at $319!, would probably end up being ideal for me.
I don’t think I’ll go for this one right away. I’ll probably start off with a more economical one, I’ve seen one that costs around $125 and looks just as same. I know, I know look and feel are two very different things. I should know, I’m originally a fashion designer. I can tell from looking at a picture if the fabric will itch you or not.
Anyway, so that’s my item of the week. To wish for a better chair, sigh…

Hmm… I’m still using a plastic chair. I’ve tried to use a ‘egronomic chair’ but I don’t really like it. Although it’s comfortable but I prefer a light, handy and simple plastic chair.
