Everybody Go To

Web Unload recently won my auction to review their website. They had actually written to me a couple of weeks earlier and I was quite interested in their set up. The basic premise of Web Unload is to offer a marketplace for web stuff without any fees.

In their own words -

WebUnload is a marketplace for web related items such as established sites, domains, gaming accounts, and more. The best thing about WebUnload is that it’s FREE! There are no fees to list an item, nor to buy from sellers.

The entire site itself is powered by WordPress, which impressed me quite a bit, showing some of the true abilities of WordPress outside of a blog setup. In my opinion there cannot be enough marketplaces, even if it faces stiff competition and basic obscurity, for the transactions of web related merchandise and Web Unload can truly stand up and come out a winner.

My suggestion to them would be to go on a marketing spree to draw both buyers and sellers to the store. Because if you have too many sellers and not enough buyers eventually the marketplace collapses as there is no movement of business. Sure the premise of doing free transactions sounds great but without some kind of marketing push a nice place like Web Unload might unload itself!
