Microsoft made a bid for Yahoo! for $44 Billion and some change. This has been trying to happen for some time. I guess it finally just might.

I don’t think it would be very smart for Yahoo to accept the bid by Microsoft. I really think that Yahoo has some awesome sites, if only they could focus a little bit more. I also don’t believe that Microsoft would do a very good job managing Yahoo, Microsoft is having enough trouble managing their own web offerings they don’t need to complicate things with overlapping property.

Was Yahoo waiting for Microsoft’s bids to increase? My thinking says yes…. 44.6 Billion is a lot of moo-la. I’m sure Yahoo will accept.
[IMHO] I think Yahoo shouldn’t sell but offer Microsoft partnership. Just a thought. Waiting to see how this turns out.
