Back in September I had written how Google was testing Link Ad Units below it's regular ad blocks. I didn't see them much again afterwards, I guess they didn't work. I also wrote on the same post -
I was thinking it would AJAXically change the ads being shown. That would be nice now wouldn’t it.
Looks like they paid attention to my post
Browsing my stats in Statcounter.com I saw two little arrows placed below the 728 x 90 and the 160 x 600 Google ad blocks. I've never seen them before. Upon clicking the arrows, the ads whizzed away in the direction of the arrow clicked, disappeared and a new set of ads appearead AJAXically {or whatever}. Just as I had thought of {read predicted} in the post linked above. Below are some screenshots. Click them for a full view.
What do you think about this new offering? Do you think they will help in increasing your CTR?
I believe they are testing it out on bigger sites to see the viability of making it available to everyone. The Link Ad Units below the ads clearly did not work, so let's see how these perform. If you see them on my blog, feel free to try it out - for statistical purposes of course!

Interesting. I don’t use Google Adsense, but I guess if I ever did, I’d probably like the way this functions.
