Ever Purchased A New Printer Because The Toner Was More Expensive?

*Sponsored Presentation*

A little over a year ago, I was printing resumes and applications everyday. Two, three, sometimes four pages. To say the least, my printer ink depleted faster than expected.

I had purchased a new cartridge just a few months prior and I dreaded having to pay for yet another. I drove to a local discount department store and began the process of seeking out the correct toner for my printer, which at the time was a Lexmark. The section had obviously not been stocked that day and I had two choices - a two pack black and color ink for $40, or one black cartridge for $32. I chose the black ink, only because of the price and browsed the computer section for a while.

Then, I found my solution.

A HP printer, complete with black and color ink, with an extra black toner cartridge for the low price of, $39.99. Decisions, decisions. It didn’t take me long to figure out that a new printer with three toner cartridges for the same price of two cartridges was the better deal {not to mention my printer had never lined up correctly}. I’ve yet to have any issues with the printer, even though it was cheaper than most. I have determined one thing-buying though that buying toner for any brand of printer is one of the most expensive productivity items on the market.

In my experiences, finding the ink I need by searching online is not only less of a hassle, since most of the time you go to the office supply store they don’t have what you need, but cheaper as well. Even with shipping costs, I have paid $10 to $15 less than I otherwise would have at a local store. If you’re in need of toner and don’t want to pay the high prices and have trouble finding the type of ink your printer needs, shop around online. Below is one such store.
