WOW! I cannot believe that this blog actually crossed 100,000 visitors this month. Plus, there’s still 6 more days left.
This has by far been the best month of Everybody Go To. I had no idea when I started this blog over a year ago that I would break 100,000 visitors! It’s a good thing I was prepared for the new influx of visitors I’m getting. I recently upgraded my hosting plan, I no longer pay $3.95 a month I now pay $14.99 a month. Which is not that big of an upgrade, but it’s still a better option than what I previously had.
I’ve talked in the past about preparing for success and I was sure glad that I did prepare myself for it. It would have sucked to lose all the new visitors to a 404 page.
For those thinking, Where am I getting all these new visitors from? It’s a mixture of social sites, networking and increased search engine traffic. But more heavy on the social traffic side. I’m proof that anybody can make their blog popular.
I’ve marked the last time I reached 500 RSS subscribers, I’m 3 shy of hitting 600. So sign up for my RSS feed if you haven’t done so yet. Marking your blogging accomplishments can not only bring in new visitors, and readers, but also give your present readers a moral boost for themselves.
My traffic stats for the first month I started this blog, March 2006
and my traffic stats for this year, October 1st - October 25th 2007

Here’s looking forward to 200,000 visitors. By the way I have 3 banner ad spots available. Drop a comment or get in touch with me if you would like to advertise.

Dang that it awesome. 100,000 uniques in a month is a big acheivement. Howlong did it take you to get to 1,000 uniques a day?

Congratulations on 100K visitors & 171K views. Felt sorry for getting to PR3 fro 5, but not to worry at the end it’s all relativity… if 5 becomes 3 then those who were 3 will be seeing 1… the difference would always be there… Full update is yet to happen.. and new blogs are yet to get their PR value.

Congratulations on the success. I am sure the featuring on John Cow’s blog helps you in some way in getting traffic right?
Also, I also find your contents are the key that brought you to such a success. Keep us coming and keep the quality up!

@Thomas - Yep, can’t wait to hit 1000. A lot more content still yet to come.
@Jonathan & David - Thanks!
@Mike C - I almost had a 1000 unique a day before getting a sudden jump in traffic. Let’s hope this recent spike from social sites keeps continuing.
@Jalaj - PR doesn’t affect me, and it shouldn’t affect you anymore, Google just made it irrelevant.
@Wayne - Thanks, you have a good blog too. Checked it out yesterday. John Cow doesn’t send me that much traffic. Plus I think most of our readers overlap anyway.
