I’ve finally begun the process of converting this blogs theme over to my own customized one. Right now I’m just drawing layouts out and thinking about the direction that I want to take this blog in. I want it to become more than just a blog, I also want it to become a community for my readers and everyone else.
Here are the main goals I want to accomplish with this blog, for the future -
- Increase my RSS subscribers to at least 2,000 by the end of the year
- Provide free resources, for a whole bunch of stuff
- Make this blog one of my biggest money earners, right behind my design company
- Get at least one permanent co-author
- and much more…
As for the design, well like I said it’s just begun so probably another week or two from now I should be able to debut it.
By the way, if you remember I talked a bit about launching my web product. It is still in development, and taking shape nicely. I had to sidetrack for sometime due to JohnCow’s blog theme. Now that things are sort of back to normal, I’ve gone back to designing that development. More on that to come soon.
In the meantime, I would like your suggestions as to what you would like to see as part of this blog? Please provide your suggestions in the comments.

I’d like to see maybe some free wordpress themes if you had the time, and maybe some wordpress plugins. Also, if you wanted to take it in the community direction..maybe a forum? Those are my thoughts. As I said before, can’t wait to see the new design.
BTW, I might be available for co-authoring a blog.

I’d definitely like to see some WordPress themes. Also, a feature where you highlight other bloggers would be great. You have a lot of readers and could really help them find new sites they might not think of, as well as up and coming bloggers.

I can’t wait to see the new theme. I actually just started modifying my theme, I’ve started seeing the theme I’m using more and more around the blogosphere and I figured modifying it would help set me apart a bit. I’ve never really done much to modify a theme so wish me luck.

Nice. I’m looking forward to seeing your new theme, considering that this one is OK too.
As for the second author, you should take a look on DP or Seopoint. Might find a couple of good writers there willing to join you

there too much empty white space in the header. change that.
