SmartAff - Helping You Maximize Revenue Per Visitor

*Sponsored Presentation*

As a growing affiliate marketer myself I was quite intrigued when offered the chance to review SmartAff.org, which is an affiliate marketing community that Joe is building.

First Impressions

I was thankful it was not a long sales page, but it also slightly bothered me that even with the sparse amount of text that was on the site the message did not come out clear enough. Usually when there isn’t much text you get the point, I think the copy can be worked up a little bit more here.

I went ahead and watched the video, which runs 14 minutes long. Even though it is a typical marketing video it is slightly more appealing in some sort of way than others I’ve seen. As Joe talks and runs you through slides of his ad campaign spendings, revenue charts etc…you get the main purpose behind his community site - to help you maximize your rpv - revenue per visitor.

RPV - Revenue Per Visitor

You have heard as many abbreviations as you can on the internet, well here’s one more - RPV. What it basically means is to maximize the amount of money you make per visitor to your site. This has in fact been happening in the real world in supermarkets, fast food joints and everywhere else people gather for some sort of recreation or shopping.

Joe wants you to stop worrying too much about CPC’s, conversions, CTR’s etc…and instead focus on RPV. You can listen a little bit about RPV while watching the video, then of course you are compelled to enter your email address and name. For the purpose of reviewing the site I signed up and got an email with a link to an inspirational video. I was also asked to outline my biggest challenge to get more information about the community he is building up.

Time and Focus

Joe tells you at the end of his video that time is one of our most valuable assets, and he’s right. Time well spent is probably the best thing you can do for yourself. Especially when you’re making a living on the internet, where trends change really fast. I didn’t see any information about how much membership to the community would cost. Perhaps that would be a good addition to the site.

I also have to agree with his statement of maximizing revenue per visitor. After all, a visitor who might come to my site today via a search engine might never return. Ever. Which is fine, those who do come back did so because they found information here and keep looking for more. You can’t please everyone, so focus on the ones that you can. When you do focus, think BIG. Another point I agree with on Joe.

SmartAff Affiliation

Joe also offers an affiliate program, this is where I find out that the program costs $270 a month. As an affiliate you can make up to 60% ongoing commission per month. In the review brief, I was told that SmartAff is a non-profit site. He reiterates that statement in the affiliate video by saying that profits would be donated to a charity, after everyone has been paid their commissions.

Finally, What is a SmartAff?

A SmartAff is just an opportunity junkie who stopped settling for pennies and started demanding dollars.

I would suggest Joe to offer a bit more information in text form, rather than videos. Without going into a long sales page type set up if possible.

Joe himself is a millionaire, as outlined in the review brief to me, and his main company JJSmithMarketing.com generated seven figures in only two years.
