Well, this month is getting off to a hectic start, which is very good. I’ve been crouched up in front of my system for like 12 hours preparing one of my sites for launch, along with other misc. stuff. Doing it is not the problem as I’ve highlighted before that I’ve made it much simpler to add products and links. It’s making sure that every link, alt text, keyword, description etc…is present and correct, which is time consuming.
I don’t need to use an image editor anymore, so more or less it’s like a desktop CMS for my site. Hmm…that would make a nice idea now wouldn’t it? A desktop based CMS instead of a server based one.
Anyway, launch day for that project is “tentatively” tomorrow for the main product area. I’m leaving the content area for later on, as it’s much more than I anticipated. But I need to get the bread and butter sections going as traffic already comes to those pages naturally. The content area will all be added within a week, hopefully, for some extra search engine juice.
So as for Design Month, I kicked it off yesterday with some RSS reader badge icons. I wanted to do something special today. But will wait till tomorrow to do so, with an extra bang.
In the meantime to keep you all busy here’s a speed painting video you can see of Spider-Man. Wish I could do something like that with a mouse stroke, I could probably do it with sketch pens and/or pencils though.
