It is no secret that content is king on the internet. Keeping the content fresh is the hard part, sometimes you just don’t have the time to do it all. Instead of hiring a dedicated person for the task you can also buy unique content from writers as and when you please. This is where Constant-Content comes in.

Constant-Content offers you the ability to buy an article, product review, tutorial, blog entry or make a private request for content. The Unique Articles are written by the authors that are part of their network on lots of various topics. They have recently launched a new section for buying multimedia products which presently includes photos, illustrations and videos.

With over 10,000 writers at their helm, it is not hard to find relevant content to populate your site. Especially if you are not up to the task or simply don’t have the time to do so. All articles that are submitted into their marketplace by authors are checked for grammar, spelling and any sign of plagiarism. So you can be rest assured if you are buying a unique license for an article it will be unique.

Types of licenses

  • Free – You can use any free articles they may have in their marketplace to be published unchanged where you choose too.
  • Usage – This is a paid license which lets you add links to the content.
  • Unique – Also a paid license, you can publish content you buy with this license to multiple websites. Plus, it is removed from Constant-Content once purchased.
  • Full Rights – Sometimes an author will sell a license for full rights to their content. Under this pretext you can even take credit for the article and even resell it. I’m guessing this is what would happen if you make a private request for an article. Plus the content will be removed from the site once full rights have been paid for.

Content and prices

Prices vary depending on the type of content you buy and the word count. Naturally you can’t expect to get a 400 word article for $5. Of course there are exceptions, but then the author is usually a new one and wants to get some statistics going. The content might be not exactly what you are looking for, but it’s a bargain price. Basically you get what you pay for.

The multimedia categories have next to nothing in them right now, save for the photos, as it was just launched. But I can see it becoming quite busy going forward, like the rest of the site.

I’ve seen some Usage licenses being sold for as little as $5 by new authors. The median price though seems to be $15 – $20 for a Usage license and some Full Rights prices go up as much as $150 from the few authors profiles I viewed.

Community

You can register as a customer or as an author to make use of the site. They even have a writers forum where you can become part of their community. With 7,000+ members, it seems busy enough. They maintain a blog too and write some pretty interesting posts on them. Most of them are centered around writing, which is probably a good resource for a future author to get themselves ready before they attempt at joining Constant-Content.com as one.

Overall, I believe Constant-Content offers a valuable resource for authors and customers to take advantage of each others position.
