Right now my computer has hundreds upon hundreds of photos of my family, friends, vacations, some random black cat, and a funny looking flower. Every time my wife says, “Hey, lets look at those pictures from the time we…” I have to stop what I’m doing, wade through folder upon folder to find the exact one and then watch them with her. I think it’s time I got her a digital photo frame.
Seemingly you can just place your memory card in the frame and use the remote control to view the slideshow. It can even plays movies that I have taken with my digital camera. Supported formats include JPEG, MP4, DivX, AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, MP3, WMA and WAV formats. Coming in 7″, 8″, 9″ and 10″ versions the prices are not really bargain prices, but hey when was technology ever! They even have USB ports.
So if you think you’re wasting too much time sitting by your computer finding the right folder of pictures, get yourself a digital frame. That way you’ll have the computer all to yourself {that was a joke of course, I love my family}.
