This is something innovative being done by Visa which has parents getting their teens prepaid debit cards for whatever they want. The card can be given to any teen 13 years and up and is being used by parents to teach them responsibility and for rewarding them. Nice idea, wish my parents bribed me like that.

Now they’re having a design competition where teens can now upload their own design in the Teen Credit Card design competition being held by PAYjr. The prizes look pretty good too! From an Apple Laptop for first place, a Video iPod for second and a iPod Nano to the third.

The winners will also get to have their designs be part of the gallery so that others may use them for their own cards if they like. You can vote for your favorites so go ahead and do so. Some really interesting designs have been submitted so far. Be careful who you vote for as you are only allowed to vote for one card per day. So make it count.
