Looking Back At Your Content

  • Posted under: Internet on June 13, 2007

I like to look back now and then too see the kind of stuff I’ve written. I highly suggest that all bloggers do the same too, Why?

Reasons for trackbacking yourself

  • First of all, your RSS readership goes up and down all the time so it’s always a good idea to introduce some of your old content to your new readers
  • It increases visits to your site by RSS readers
  • People like to click, because it’s easier than typing a search
  • It can increase interaction overall by readers

Word of advice – Limit them to not more than one per month, like on a special post as this one is. You can always link back to other relevant articles from within other posts as well. Doing too many “look at my other content” posts can drive your long time RSS readers away. I hope my present RSS readers don’t mind this one :-)

Now, on with the content you may have missed or would like to read again

That’s all folks, enjoy reading up!
