Chanced upon this soon to be launched service called Search Friendly Ads. They have not gone live yet, but you can provide your email address to be notified of launch.
From the description of the landing page I can tell that it’s another way for publishers to sell ad inventory on their site/blogs. They plan on doing it with plain HTML and no JavaScript, so advertisers get more SEO benefit and the publisher has more chance of selling an ad as they are part of the program.
Also, I believe it’s going to be set on a subscription basis and a publisher can set their own price.
Will be interesting to see this when it launches, look for more information here as I get it. They promise we won’t be disappointed, I’ve heard that before around the web. Hope it’s true this time.
Visit Search Friendly Ads.

That is an interesting idea, I never thought about an advertiser using just straight html instead of javascript. that would be much better for seo. Its not like they couldn’t track how many people are coming to the site through your ad, all you need is a simple stats package like google analytics. sounds cool, I might give them my email address so I can try it out.

Howdy! The HTML ad part is a nice touch. I have had a problem with AuctionAds running in my Blogger widgets.
I also wanted to comment in case I am the lucky 1000th visitor.
I tried a comment for cash contest. I had one person that commented every day, sometimes 3-4 times per day. She won, too. She has never returned to my blog again.
If I win from you, I will be only be $14.01 in the hole.
Have a great day and a better tomorrow.

Nice tip but isnt Text Link Ads doing exactly the same? I am selling some links and get there just pure HTML SEO friendly links on my sites.

yeah, seems like it is similar to text link ads, but it’s for banners instead of text links. if that is true, this could be very interesting… seo friendly banner ads, I would rather buy one of these than an ad through adsense or adbrite and get more bang for my buck.
