May Roundup - The Hits and Misses

I like to do a little round up of past events in the past month so that new readers can have a chance to see what they might have missed. Also, I’ve removed the “Archives” list from my sidebar as it was getting too long so this is a great way for you to get to know about past posts you may have missed.

May was an interesting month in traffic, though I didn’t come anywhere close to April’s traffic increase which was mostly due to digg. It did however almost triple over March’s traffic and I expect it to increase by about 25 - 40% from here on. Income also was at a 100% increase over last month.

I did want to launch a few other things in May but my freelancing jobs took up way more time than anticipated. Plus the constant nagging feeling that they were left unfinished even though I had free time on my hands stopped me from starting other things.

It is really distracting to start something and then wait half way for days, to get approval, to move forward. So I’m more or less putting my freelancing on hold for this month, except for the occasional quickie. I’m looking ahead to making my income solely from my own online activities and not having to rely too much on outside sources.
