I have some very VERY exciting news. If you haven’t been following the voting that has been going on for the blogs that will come out on Top at the end of 2007, you should. Here’s a link to the post, the voting closes on the 12th of May, Midnight Eastern Europe time.
This has been one of my most successful posts. Basically the post was inspired by Darren’s group writing project and I did it in such a way as to get the community involved. And boy did they! Getting around 80 comments and counting, with almost all the blogs blogging about it themselves and sending their readers over here to vote - I can safely say that the project was a SUCCESS!
Now for the icing on the cake. I was lucky enough to get the support of a sponsor to give out some prizes to the winners.
PayPerPost is sponsoring prizes for The Top 5 Blogs, as chosen by you the voters, for being the best of the best and hopefully will stay true to voters expectations to come out on top in their niché at the end of 2007.
The Prizes
PayPerPost is offering the winner in each category
- a Postie Pack from their PayPerPost Gear store which includes a T-Shirt, Visor, Giant Pen, etc. and
- a $100 credit to use on PPP as an advertiser to help spread the word about their winning blog.
So not only do you get recognition for coming out on top for what you blog about but you also get some cool gear and get other bloggers to spread some more buzz about you around the blogosphere.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank PayPerPost and Ted Murphy for sponsoring the prizes.
Good Luck All! Approx. 2 more days of voting remain and some blogs are neck to neck. The outcome can still change, so get your people on here and vote for your favorite blog!
Winners will be announced formally by me soon after the cut off time on the blog here. I will notify winners personally how they can redeem their prizes.

Nice going on brining in some sponsorship on that. Goes to prove just how big of a difference one single post can make, if you do it well and it hits the right spot in among the readers!
I’ve already voted for my favorites
