Technorati Got Borked

The technorati monster got loose last night before I went to bed and today morning I log on and see that I now have an authority ranking, next to a shiny logo.

They've changed how they show the ranking from this -

to this

So now the amount of blogs that link to me is the "Authority", and the Rank is the same as it was.

I just find this vague, Does this confuse you or make it easier to measure a blogs popularity?

Popularity: 1% [?]

I just learned about it today… this authority thing. I really have no idea what is a better measure. But I’m happy that both my authority and rank is not bad.
