ReviewMe Launches ReviewMe Advertiser Marketplace

ReviewMe has just launched Campaign Reviews today. What it basically is an advertiser can now create a campaign and let it loose in the ReviewMe marketplace.

So say if I want advertise my product for new Web Directory I create a campaign in the system by -

  • Giving it a name
  • The Number of Reviews I want to get at
  • The price I am ready to pay per review
  • I then say if I want the reviewer to “Review My: Product, Service, Site Design or Page Content”
  • Specify any keywords I want the blogger to link with, ex. Web Directory
  • The Destination URL and the product description
  • Choose the category I want to target

It then presents me with the deadline and I can choose to have it recurring, click ” Add to Cart”, pay and I’m done. The campaign is now live in the marketplace and any blogger can pick it up. The questionable part is their is no segmentation like there is on payperpost so any blogger can take up any offer from an advertiser. I was able to accept an offer for a SEO software opp without any hesitation.

It will be interesting to see if advertisers come in and set up campaigns with big payouts, as the minimum price for a review on ReviewMe is $40. Then again you get what you pay for.

On the other hand this makes the marketplace broader for bloggers to come in and make more money than they have been able to make from ReviewMe so far. Probably they will add the option for advertisers to segment the opps based on ranking that ReviewMe themselves use for accepting a blog into their system.

I would like to note that they do reject some blogs from their marketplace because of lower traffic, pagerank, linkbacks and other such factors, as does their other company text-link-ads.
