…seamlessly binded to make our lives better, not confusing. Where security and privacy are not issues anymore but are the foundation of a system that is built around the simple concept of efficiency.
Efficiency to stay in touch with anyone on any corner of the globe through the touch of a button, irrespective of whether there is an internet connection their or not. Technology is their to make our lives simpler, better and more productive. But today it is far away from that.
Imagine a day when everybody just uses one single username and password for the “Internet” as a whole. No multiple usernames, passwords no need to provide the same information over and over again. Open ID is accomplishing some of that. But the fact is that it might not be as widely accepted as one might think. But it’s getting there.
The thing is that sometimes people just don’t want to be known on the internet. They use aliases and pseudonyms on the net to hide who they really are. This provides some level of privacy but as the concept of social networking becomes popular the world maybe moving towards getting to know one another more than ever before.
Online media has brought us closer and more in tune with each other. Blogs have made people more open about themselves and, once again, social networks have made most of us more friendly. People are slowly becoming less shy about revealing who they really are on the internet.
Do you remember the days when home and telephone marketing was the only way to get mass customers, well now you can practically do it for free on the internet and people are in fact more happy to give you their email address to sign up or try out a service.
