Update: To all who commented and wished me luck, thank you. I hope you enjoyed this little satire for April Fool’s Day, hey where’s the fun in life if you can’t have a laugh or two right. I’m not going anywhere, I like this blog too much and I like my readers even more.
If you read my last post where I wrote about Google and their becoming the best place to work in the U.S and how I would love to become a bouncy ball tester or a food sampler.
Well, guess what!
A human resource manager from the U.K headquarters at Google read that post and sent me an email saying that they want to talk about a possible partnership where I would travel worldwide and test all the bouncy balls that they buy for the company. Plus a NEW thing that they are buying to please their ever growing geekdom, a Zorb.

A Zorb is a big plastic ball that you can get inside and then throw yourself down a hill or just roll around surrounded by a cushion of air. You may also get the pleasure of rolling around in your own vomit, if you easily get sick that is.
So in a few days I will be packing up and flying over to meet Sergey and Larry to discuss the super secret algorithm that they use for determining the right amount of bounce a bouncy ball should have and to develop an algorithm to determine the perfect slope on which you can roll down in a Zorb, without actually throwing up.
I will be blogging live, maybe even strap a camera to my head, from around the world as I test bouncy balls and Zorb’s plus touring all the Google campuses of the world. This is going to be exciting!
Get addicted to my RSS feed, and stay up to date.

Thanks Ali!
I needed something – http://tinyurl.com/2luaw5 – now you helped me think of it. I guess you and I will be bouncy ball testers, live and worldwide in competition for each of our new companies!

I’ve heard that bouncy ball testers from the 60’s have had to go in for counseling later in life. It seems they didn’t have to wear ear plugs during the test procedure back then and something about the bounce impact sound waves combined with the force of the bounce going up the spine triggers some primal response later on in life creating the impression that they can still hear the sound even when they are in bed with their eyes closed trying to go to sleep.
So make sure you have a good noise cancelling set of headphones or something!

April Fool’s joke? or real? All these jokes and the web are confusing me, lol.
GMail has “Paper Archive” on their homepage which I got all excited about, lol. I think it’s a joke.

Even if it’s a joke, could you still please strap a camera to your head?

Try Hyper Core for PVC balls similar to Zorb Balls.
http://www.hyper-core.co.uk
I think they cost around £1000.00 and they deliver internationally.
