Web 2.0 Startup Tools

If you are starting your Web 2.0 startup and looking for online tools to speed up the process, this will come in handy.

First of you need to think of a domain name, you can either look at how I think of web 2.0 domain names or use this service or this one.

Then you need to get that logo done with your shiny beta tag, reflection and gradient shading. So get your logo done here, this is mine.

Next you need some stripes for the background, I'll keep with the blue theme and use the stripe that was created with Stripe Generator, yep something like that actually exists. Feel free to use this in your template if you like .

Right next step is to get all those Ajax and Javascript effects together. So visit this site to get all that you will need from popups, rounded corners, ajax contact forms, slide shows and more.

Good, you have everything you need to build your own Web 2.0 site, now all you need to think about is what it's going to offer?

If you took this post seriously...well, I can't help you there ;)

    Heh, funny.

Though coincidently, just the other day I wrote about software startups (web 2.0 would be a subset of that). Just some things one needs before starting to build a website, other than coming up with an actual service to offer ;)
