With the recent news that Windows Vista’s sales have been doubling as compared to the Windows XP launch Microsoft seems to be happy about it.
In the next few months almost every new PC out there will have Windows Vista preinstalled. Prior to the release of Vista, Microsoft had done extensive customer research with Release Candidates to test the OS for bugs and stability. Finally after 2 RC releases Vista went RTM { release to manufacturing }.
Before it came to that stage the community that was testing it detailed a lot of things which they thought would confuse any user migrating from XP to Vista via a upgrade or a new system purchase. TrainSignal has released Vista Video Training CD’s that will help a user that wants to make the most of Vista’s new functionalities and features. With Gates himself stating that this is the biggest upgrade they have done to their OS, you can expect a lot of new features.
I was at the local tech store the other day and was playing around with Vista and found that a few things had been renamed and moved around in the Control Panel, for someone like me though who is more technically inclined fiddling around with it will probably get to a spot where I want to be. But then again I still don’t know how to do a few things in XP, which I will not mention here
It might not be the same case for everybody else though.
With 19 hours of video the CD covers the major things to get you started to make the most out of Vista. There is a sample video which you can view, visit Train Signal for full details.
